Out of ctrl
A downloadable game for Windows
Out of ctrl is my submission for the Game maker's toolkit game jam 2020.
N.B. The JAR file may not work on non-WIndows devices due to differences in separators in file paths (e.g. / instead of \). A fixed version of the same game will be available at https://robiederks.itch.io/out-of-ctrl-non-windows. After GMTK game jam voting is over, the working file will be put on this page.

Install instructions
For Windows devices, you can download the Windows version. This includes the necessary JRE.
For other devices, you can download the JAR version. It is required to have a version of the Java Runtime Environment on your device (available for free on java.com/download).
If you are on a Windows device, but you already have a JRE installed, I recommend you download the JAR version, to reduce the folder size.
After downloading, you can extract the zipped folder. Inside the extracted folder, you will find "Out of ctrl.exe" or "Out of ctrl.jar". Run that file to play the game.
